I'm Keara, a graphic designer, magazine collector (hoarder), craft beer enthusiast, part-time veggie and well i'm still trying to figure out my party trick! My passion is all things print but I also have experience in other areas of design.

Using our active engagement services and programmes such as the Corporate Decathlon and Corporate Pentathlon, ActivityMix improve employee engagement by creating a happier and more cohesive working environment, resulting in increased productivity. ActivityMix engages your full team and inspires individuals to play their role and build enthusiasm for your business. In turn, this attracts talent, breaks down hierarchical barriers and improves networking opportunities. As a part-time in-house designer, I have to ensure the application of the ActivityMix brand is correct. Working within the brand guidelines to create new engaging collateral as required by the company along with third party brand guidelines to ensure ActivityMix correctly represent other brands i.e. sponsors. Communicate with the Marketing & Communications team to provide input into the implementation of the brand across various touch points, including the 3D events environment. This role involves active coordination and liaison with all members of the team including the company’s directors, external parties and clients.
At TREND I assisted the senior designer in creating engaging layouts for the August/September Issue. Thinking creatively while applying their brand guidelines was essential to create consistency throughout the magazine. While working on several layouts, I was also given the responsibility of producing the photography for the main article.
This internship was part of my third year at University. I was given the responsibility of creating work for two clients including the design and build of two websites along with smaller design tasks. Not only did I learn about designing for the web I also took it upon myself to learn HTML 5 and CSS from scratch. Having to communicate with both clients and other members of the team, ensuring I stuck to deadlines while producing a high quality body of design work.
