I'm an open minded and creative individual with a passion for film, TV and music.. and food. I currently work as a Digital Content Editor for an Independent filmmakers networking company based in the UK called 'Shooting People' and I am currently assistant producing a feature film. Previous to this, I graduated with a First Class Honours BA Broadcast Journalism degree in 2014. Midway through my course, my interests led me away from news production; and my independent feature on women in gangs cemented my decision to cross over into film production. I was brought up surrounded by food - my family have had their own mobile catering business for over 20 years which takes up residency 'on the road' for 6-8 weeks a year. We deliver high quality and quite frankly, scrumptious oriental cuisine to music festivals such as Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, Larmer Tree, Cornbury etc. Whilst I was studying, I took up a managerial role at events as well as main chef responsibilities. So there you have it. Films, food and a nurtured flower child...

I undertook a number of roles which included researching for both radio and television documentaries, helping with location scouting and acting as a runner for a 'Dispatches' episode shoot.
First Class Honours - Practical-based Bachelor of Arts degree. I have been trained to use recording equipment including video cameras and 'Marantz' audio devices. I can efficiently use Adobe Audition and Adobe Premier CS6 to produce radio and television packages. We are also provided with training in a radio studio and TV gallery to produce news bulletins. Aspects and assessments of the course help develop interview and communication skills. Through this I have gained extensive knowledge in production, specifically news and factual programming.
Received an award for a radio documentary I made on the challenges girls face being in a gang in Nottingham.
