I currently work with clients such as Microsoft, American Express, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Goose Island Brewery, Disney, Purina, SAP and Nestlé. My roles include: • Conceptual thinking and activations for large-scale experiential events – many of which include AR and VR technology • Conceptual thinking and activations for a catalogue of shopper brands • Conceptual thinking and copy to launch branded products and campaigns • Creating long and short copy for shopper toolkits, key visuals, print ads, point of sale displays and display units • Devising long and short copy for online and print materials: web, email, social, brochures, exhibitions, experiential events, script writing, radio ads, podcasts, keynote speeches and award copy • Proof checking and editing for the agency and clients • Being an active member of the social committee and go-to copywriter and editor for internal marketing communications.
At SLG I was tasked with writing a range of creative copy and content for our clients who mainly operated in the B2B market. Throughout my time, I: • Created creative concepts for new client campaigns and business pitches • Long and short copy for email marketing campaigns, brochures, landing pages, product descriptions, POS displays, banner ads, exhibition stands, print ads, client presentations, case studies, script writing and social media posts • Attended photoshoots • Had sole responsibility of creating SEO content and uploading it to a home and lifestyle blog that lived on WordPress • Managed the agency’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, and online blog.
This was a short-term role after several client wins who operated mainly in the B2C market. In this period, I: • Created content for email marketing campaigns, social media posts, blogs, advertorials, landing pages and award entries • Used HubSpot to create landing pages, eDMs and scheduling social media posts • Moved the current website over to HubSpot • Passed my Inbound HubSpot certification within the first three months of employment.
