About me
I'm a London based, professional Photographer. My career started with a degree from Winchester School of Art where I studied photography under the graphic arts umbrella. From there I explored a wide range of photographic styles including events, boudoir and still life where I developed a foundation of transferable skills. Working alongside the production team at Sunbeam Studio’s and assisting different photographers on shoots enabled me to refine all the skills I had learnt and develop my own photographic style along the way. I took the working knowledge I had of the industry and applied it to my current role as a photographer for Pocket Creatives. Now, I have lots of experience working on projects from beginning to end. From pre-production, idea generation and understanding a brief to controlling studio lighting and natural lighting through to the post production and retouching stage. As a confident individual who has learnt to work well under pressure through previous employments, I pride myself on being personable with clients and a positive presence on set and in my day to day life. Outside of work I also love to expand my capabilities and tackle new challenges. I’m currently fuelling this urge for growth by taking tumbling classes and producing and shooting my own personal photography projects.

I work closely with the production team to help plan the creative direction and execution of all of our shoots. I’ll work at bringing ideas to life and am always pushing for the most engaging and creatives images possible for Pocket Creatives clients. The work we produce varies from fashion/beauty and portraiture to food, product, fitness and lifestyle and more! I am also responsible for all of the retouching and oversee all of our image delivery in post-production. On the rare occasion where I’m not tinkering in the kit room, looking through a lens or processing, I’ll be getting inspiration and staying up to date on local trends for shoots through social media platforms, testing out new lighting set ups or assisting the video team.

I closely shadowed a number of photographers, gaining invaluable insight into the industry, set culture and technical knowledge. My responsibilities included setting up studio lighting, using initiative to foresee any problems and finding a solution for them before they occurred, keeping everything organised on set, managing the props, liaising with the clients and many more.
