Having graduated from university last year with a degree in fine art, I since worked full time as a supervisor in a customer service role, in order to fund a 6month trip to South East Asia. I am looking for a full time supervisor position in the art industry that will allow me to grow and progress, both within a team and as an individual. I love meeting new people so am well suited in a customer facing role. I prefer working in a fast pace environment because I work well under pressure and enjoy using my own initiative. I am a very creative yet strategic thinker who works towards achieving the best results.
November 2012 – September 2016 Sales floor supervisor, BHS Sutton I settled into the role quickly and was promoted to supervisor within 6 months of joining the company. This role taught me how to deal with unexpected and sensitive issues on a daily basis. I became very adaptable and able to anticipate difficult situations in order to ensure smooth daily running of the business. Working in an environment that catered to a majority of elderly customers, meant often having to deal with incidents on the shop floor. Our customers required a personalised service that demanded patients, understanding and enthusiasm. I was also responsible for the continuous profit and increase of sales within my department. Responsibilities: • Deal with queries and complaints. Supervising the customer service department that deals with refunds, often assisting with unsatisfied customers • Create a fun working environment by approaching everyday with a new perspective. Keep the team motivated through regular feed back and close communication • Review sales figures focusing specifically on top selling products. And analyse how the customer shops in order to increase sales and meet their needs in the best possible way • Building customer relations to create loyalty and aid in the promotion of products in order to reach targets

During university, I worked for a high-end menswear designer in London. This was a sophisticated environment, which demanded close attention to detail and the greatest professionalism. I was required to adapt to varying client needs and personify every meeting to create loyalty and endorse the brand in the best-suited way. Responsibilities: • Delivering suits to clients in the city efficiently, buying materials and equipment that required good navigational and time keeping skills • Weekly meetings to brainstorm and create mood board themes. Source related concepts/materials and create innovative ideas to embellish yet elaborate designs in order to keep the brand new and exclusive • Photograph artworks and garments to create promotional material to use on social media. Painting and decorating the store, keeping it fresh and fashionable

Worked together successfully in a team and individually in order to produce a purposeful and dynamic show • Skills in: Screen printing, photography (digital and analogue) and development, mono printing, drawing etc. • During my dissertation, I gained useful research skills to help in sourcing relevant information and how to accurately reference.
