I am a passionate and driven event specialist with experience in a variety of events, including vocational workshops, fashion launches and promotions, speaker series and corporate events, and festival activations.
Operations Manager for 50+ Masterclass events per month. Managing a customer service team and event facilitators I oversee the preparation and execution of all masterclasses for both public and corporate customers. I liaise with venues, catering, security, manage our in-house room bookings and ensure all safety and risk assessment requirements are met.
Event Production, Management and Coordination - Management, production and execution of events for the Globe and Mail’s Globe Recognition program. Assist with production of Canadian Living Advantage program events. - Ensuring each event brings the brands and consumers together through brave, innovative experiences, and remaining appropriate for the readers of each publication. - Full end to end event responsibility including budget management, responsibility for the development, production and delivery of projects from proposal, to delivery, to debrief and final reconciliation in line with client's requirements. - Overseeing venue sourcing and booking, AV, technical and production needs, with internal suppliers and sourcing new suppliers where required.
Sponsorship management for TD Diversity - Title sponsorship management of Tier 1 properties held by TD Bank’s Diversity portfolio. - Festivals included Toronto Pride, Vancouver Pride, Montreal Pride, Festival of South Asia and the IRIE Music festival. - Securing all sponsorship rights and festival deliverables, to ensure TD gains positive exposure in the media and to both new and existing customers. - Onsite activation and management of assets on festival footprint. Event and staff management for MasterCard Canada - Assisting with the launch of the MasterCard Priceless Toronto campaign. - Coordination and management of all on-site events, promoting the new website and gaining registrations for MasterCard Priceless Toronto. - Team management and maintaining of the budget ensured that the campaign was extremely successful, with registration targets reached and positive media exposure received.
- Responsible for event production of corporate events and training, fashion parades and promotions, school holiday programs, speaker series and parties - from concept to execution, including budget management, proposals, delivery, debrief and final reconciliation. - Writing copy for press releases, advertising, liaising with media and preparing contractual agreements between LWG and clients, as well as new and existing staff, both temporary and permanent. - Providing assistance during events, including role playing in training situations, as well as conducting training sessions in place of the Managing Director when they were unavailable. - Maintaining a high level of customer service, ensuring that long standing clients remained loyal with the company and new clients were gained through positive reviews and recommendations.
