After a short stint of short spurts of freelance employment due to circumstances out of my control, I am eager to return to full time employment. During my many years of experience, I have gained a range of skills that; I believe are transferrable, across a variety of roles. Having worked with various people during my 11 years in the entertainment industry I am used to working with and providing support to high profile individuals, it has been an integral part of my working life since I began my career and to do so effectively comes from experience. One of my main strengths is the ability to put in place a culture of efficiency that underpins (and contributes to) the work of other staff and additional elements to facilitate the running of an organisation. I am a skilled communicator, highly motivated and proactive; I thrive when challenged and there's lots to organise and I am very experienced in dealing with high profile subjects and individuals. Discretion is something I hold in very high regard and something I have practiced and imposed within my previous roles. I have had many career highlights – all of which are testament to my can-do attitude. Emmanuel Jal performed in various venues across the globe, being his manager and tour manager; it was my role to organize and sometimes MD him and his band. A highlight for me was the lead up to the performance at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday in Hyde Park. There was a gala dinner with global entertainment heavyweights in attendance and 2 days rehearsals with the house band (Queen’s Band) prior to the gig. Witnessing everything come together and develop to what was a momentous show day was truly fantastic. I have been fortunate to travel a lot for work. In doing so, I have been throughout the USA, Mexico, Canada, Cambodia, Italy, Spain, Sweden, France, China, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Uganda, Chad, Ethiopia, Cameroun, Tanzania and South Sudan. Whilst managing Emmanuel Jal I helped incorporate, plan and manage Gua Africa - initially a UK based charity aimed at providing education to children and young people in South Sudan. Founded by Emmanuel Jal the charity is now registered in the USA, Kenya and South Sudan. I continued to assist as an active fundraiser, and in 2008 held a fundraising concert at the 100 Club in London. Since 2006 I have sponsored a boy called Vincent, after meeting him in Kenya. Since the charity launched in 2007, it has worked with and built 2 schools in Leer, South Sudan providing hundreds of children with education. I visited Leer as part of this project in January 2010. I am deeply passionate about film, and after stints in TV and documentary film projects, hope to be an integral part of a production team in the future.
Ventra Media Groups is a digital media company based in Lagos, Nigeria and London, UK. Through DSTV they were employed to launch Africa Magic Go. Africa Magic On Demand is an Afrocentric subscription and transactional/pay-per-view video on demand service aimed at the African diaspora in the UK and USA. It is a culmination of African movies, series, documentaries, music videos, entertainment and sports. It is the video hub of all things African, delivered at your convenience anywhere and everywhere. I was brought on as a consultant to create and manage a guerilla/social media style marketing strategy to create awareness about this product amongst the diaspora in London. The strategy created was also mirrored in the USA. This was implemented in various stages over a number of months.

Acting as Dynamo’s agent and PR manager, I was instrumental in developing his brand and was responsible for a significant amount of the exposure he received. At this time, as well as the many bookings and appearances we produced a program for Channel 4 (Dynamo's Concrete Playground) and a feature length DVD for Warner Bros. During these projects, I fulfilled the role of associate producer and music supervisor. Facilitating all logistics for our team, I was also responsible for creating filming opportunities with A-List celebrities, global tour management and PR.
