  • Working across many of the agencies key accounts, including: Barclays, Virgin Media, Volvo and Boots Health and Beauty. I have been a key member of the creative team that designed the 2015 and 2016 Boots Christmas Gift Guides. My roles in each project has included page design and development, layouts, product and lifestyle shoots, retouching and repro. Working with the Boots Health & Beauty team, to design and develop the H&B’s first digital magazine. For the first 12 issues I have been responsible for creating bespoke multi layered content to enhance the user experience. The digging platform allows the user to purchase all the products in the digimag via a bespoke shopping basket functionality, which links directly to the main Boots website. For Barclays I have been in charge of creating a wide range of social and print assets from brochures and leaflets to email newsletters, infographics and a multitude of social media resources, With the Virgin Media team I created the Christmas Movie guide DM pack along with the online version and helped develop the award winning Virgin Media 'Year of Sport' DM material, including brochure, postcards and banner ads.

  • Designed and developed the brand of a new parenting magazine 'Gurgle' which has, within two years increased it's circulation to over 36,000, becoming the UK's biggest and most stylish parenting magazine. Shortlisted for several awards including the APA and IPA magazine of the year. Developed the brands diversity by relaunching 'gurgle.com' to compliment the magazines style and content along with a weekly newsletter to highlight the key magazine and online offerings. In conjunction with this I have created a 'Gurgle Loves' icon, an award given to great products featured within Gurgle that can be included on the brands advertising and promotional material. In addition to overseeing the entire Gurgle brand, I am in charge of the day to day running of the magazine, including the design team, liaising with outside agencies, sourcing illustrators and organising and implementing all the photoshoots.

  • Won the pitch for Bon Marché Magazine, new creative helped increase ad revenue by 100% within 2 issues, subsequently we were asked by Bon Marché to develop their mailer which goes out to over 1 million of their Bonus Club members. Worked on a variety of digital and print based pitches including a new editorialised brochure for Page and Moy, as well as helping out the core Morrison's creative team on specialist projects.

CMA Content Marketing Awards

  • Create a mailing to showcase the amazing year of sport on offer to Virgin Media customers. Large iconic imagery of the previous years sporting achievements, were used to highlight the great sporting events that customers could look forward to. These were combined with strong iconography and humorous anecdotes to further engage the reader and to promote a feel good factor for the Virgin Media brand.

During a challenging time in the market place Gurgle magazine managed to excel when others in the sector floundered. 2 years after launch it was selling 36,000 copies per issue and had become the biggest selling parenting magazine in the UK, whilst holding on to it’s core values of innovative design and engaging stories.

  • To create a site for 16-24 year olds that would give a unique insight into the diverse world of fashion. The site highlighted the diverse world of fashion, from make-up artists, designers photographers, clothing and accessories. Unique blogs written by some of Storms best up and coming models, giving a rare insight into the struggles and triumphs of being a model.
