The Future Laboratory is one of the world’s most renowned futures consultancies, with a unique blend of trend forecasting, consumer insight, brand strategy and innovation. After a selective process, I was given the opportunity to do the graduate scheme, working across Marketing, Strategy, Design and Editorial. Learning and developing a variety of skills throughout my time, from visual research, trend research to executing creative assets for marketing. -Maketing During my time in marketing, it was part of my responsibility to plan and create email campaigns. I also reported Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly data from Google Analytics, as well as overseeing social media channels. I am trained on Hubspot CRM. -Strategy In the strategy department I was able to gain a variety of skills - understanding consumer trends and how brands can tap into them. I regularly undertook desk and visual research to assist various client briefs and researched and contacted industry experts to interview for client projects. -Design I was able to develop my skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign further during my time in design. I created in-house branding assets and marketing assets, from flyers to GIFs. Designing and creating deliverables for specific client briefs, and also conducting visual research. -Editorial In my last rotation - Editorial - I was given the responsibility to oversea all creative executions for LSN Global, creating and implementing social media assets and promotional content to boost LSN services. I also undertook various design research and created interview questions for insight projects.
White Label is Dazed Group's in-house integrated creative service. White Label specialises in premium fashion and lifestyle communications. My responsibilities consisted of compiling business intelligence reports, marketing reports and innovation reports. Constantly undertaking competitive research and background research for clients. Working with well orientated team, i was able to gain valuable research skills. From working with the art director to DAZED’s creative strategist, I gained positive feedback throughout.
Sewn Agency is a small, dynamic sales and PR agency representing a diverse collection of mid to high end fashion brands based in the heart of Shoreditch. The agency deals with various brands such as Libertine- Libetine, Rascals’ and Sunpocket. My roles consists of compiling PR reports and PR proposals for clients. As well taking on tasks such as sample management and managing stylist appointments. I was also given the opportunity to gain management skills, managing the other interns while my superior was away. I was also responsible for gaining coverage for brands such as Sunpocket and Garment Project.
Working with an energetic and well organised team, I was given Various responsibilities to undertake. From assisting clients to ensuring we had all the correct samples in the showroom. I also had to go over invoices to ensure they were no errors with any sale made. Also assisting with London fashion week.
Working as part of an enthusiastic team within a creative, sales driven and fast paced fashion environment. Responsible for handling press returns, ensuring all social media platforms are up to date and assisting with press reports for high-end street wear brands such as Billionaire Boys Club and A Bathing Ape. Also taking on tasks such as sorting samples and arranging line sheets for the sales team. I was also given the opportunity to assist photographer Dexter Navy for his first exhibition "36".
