Projects
  • Amanda Lee – Professional CV
Amanda Lee – Professional CVI was contacted to produce a custom CV portfolio document for marketing and brand strategist Amanda Lee. The purpose of the document was to present Amanda's professional resumé in a unique and memorable format to appeal to the competitive and savvy New York media industry. A set of 3 colour-coded versions were created with each version tailored for a particular sector. Content was typeset following a strict grid-based layout to highlight Amanda's extensive industry experience in a professional
  • Turnpike Glow EP Artwork
Turnpike Glow EP ArtworkPsychedelic synth-inspired patterns and playful typography for Fünke Pop, the sophomore EP release by indie-pop band Turnpike Glow. Turnpike Glow is a London-based 4 piece band preaching a gloriously optimistic brand of synthy indie pop. I was approached to propose the artwork for their sophomore EP Fünke Pop. A cascading and non-linear typographic treatment is combined with psychedelic synth-inspired patterns to visualise the upbeat, dynamic and syncopated characteristics of the band's newest
  • Bicycle Film Festival Poster
Bicycle Film Festival PosterA poster for a group exhibition inspired by vintage bicycle posters. I selected as one of 13 creatives by Sydney Bicycle Film Festival organisers to take part in "BI: Bicycle Art Inspired Group Exhibition". Contributors were supplied with a reproduction of a vintage bicycle poster to derive the inspiration for their artwork. My poster was printed as a limited edition of 5 and exhibited at Somedays Gallery in Surry Hills, Australia alongside the original vintage posters.
  • Millionaire Poster
Millionaire PosterA poster about the boroughs of south London exploring themes of socio-economic disadvantage and affluence. Upon my arrival to London in early 2013, I was reading about Bermondsey and Southwark and William the Conqueror and stumbled upon the Domesday Book. I found the notion of inescapable judgement particularly interesting: "Domesday" was the Middle English spelling of "Doomsday"… for as the sentence of that strict and terrible last account cannot be evaded by any skilful subterfuge, so when this book is appealed to its sentence cannot be quashed or set aside with impunity. That is why we have called the book 'the Book of Judgement' because its decisions, like those of the Last Judgement, are unalterable – Richard FitzNigel, 1179
  • Festive Postcards
Festive PostcardsA pair of limited run Christmas and new year postcards for family and friends. Instead of sending a cliche Hallmark card last year, I produced a limited run of Christmas and new year postcards using scientific anatomical drawings I found in London's famous Camden markets. Just a fun little project to toast the festive season.
  • Westendorf Posters
Westendorf PostersA series of typographic explorations commemorating my visit to Westendorf, a ski town in the Austrian Alps. After experiencing the rich culture of ski towns in Austria, I produced a series of 3 posters that pay homage to key phrases and locations.

    Tractor Design School Scholarship
The Tractor Design School scholarship works a little different to most. As a method to encourage students to be consistent throughout the course, an industry panel (that taught the class over the past few months) was asked to choose the best designer, who then receives a full refund of their fees, as well as a bronze T award. The first recipient of Tractor
