  • The Ravensbourne Degree Show 2018' was a three-day event that showcased the talents of the graduates. This was accompanied with a live television broadcast accessible on Television to those in the local area and various platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. My tasks included: - Taking a lead role in the organising and planning of professional VTs which showcased and celebrated the transition of the college to an accredited university - Showcasing what the university courses have to offer, separated by the differing schools; School of Design and School of Media. - Collaborating with the live show producers so the VT content corresponds with what they have planned for when they go live. This included scheduling meetings weekly to ensure everyone is up to date on the contents of each section of the show, organising introductions for students who are planned to be interviewed on the live show. - Organising footage to be shot on the day on the live show, meaning, having to work under intense pressure to tight deadlines. - Corresponding closely with the post-production team to ensure the creative direction is to the brief. This meant having to plan meetings with the head editor and set deadlines for when the footage needed to be handed over, as well as when I expected to have a VT uploaded. - Having to adapt quickly when we were short-handed on staff, and handling the camera operation personally.
