My responsibilities have included interacting with customers to enhance their shopping experience, dealing with customer issues by having the sufficient knowledge to resolve them. I had to push sales and exceed targets, work on all departments, engaging in one to one experiences, organizing and keeping track of deliveries and stock. Making sure all of the clothing items are stripped, tagged and taken down to the floor on time.

As a trainee at the University of Reading Fieldschool, I had to manage the placements and first years who were apart of the visitor’s team, one of my main responsibility was to make sure that they were giving tours correctly, by shadowing them and making them get trench update. Alongside this, I had to make sure they were confident in posting and taking pictures for the site’s social media pages. Furthermore, I had to think of creative ideas for the social media posts, and once written, over see all of them. I took a mixture of small and large groups of visitors on tours, giving them sufficient knowledge about the site and project aims. I also had to make sales and handle money at the gift shop.
