About me
While at University I studied History, this gave me fantastic analytical and research skills. This has given me the confidence in breaking down information and then relaying it back to others in a concise, comprehensive way. Not only have I got important research and academic skills, but having had a large interest in theatre and performing my whole life, I know how to effectively build up a rapport and work well with other people in a team. This background has also given me the confidence to be an extremely outgoing, and approachable person with whom many people can get along with. While at university I was social secretary for the drama society, this gave me a large responsibility in creating ideas for and then putting into practice the social events for over 140 people. This included nights out, sit down meals, trips to the theatre, and other forms of social events. My interests are primarily in the creative industry as that is what I have always grown up knowing and loving, I am currently looking for any experience within this industry to bolster my CV now I have left university.

While at University I graduated with 2:1 Ba in History. This was a very useful degree as it helped me to learn how to work on large projects independently, with an emphasis on research and analysis. I have a large range of historical periods that I covered, but I had particular interest in the modern era of history and specifically, gender history. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of gender and the impact that this has had in the modern day, especially in relation to masculinity and men which my thesis was based upon.
