Responsibilities included: • Maintaining tastecard and Gourmet Society websites via CMS • Building new pages and creating engaging copy for each new restaurant profile in line with SEO best practice; this must be done at a rapid pace within tight deadlines, especially during an inherited backlog of pending content which has since been cleared. • Proofreading and editing copy to the highest standard • Liaising with restaurants (including the larger chain’s HQs) and conducting research to ensure all information displayed on our channels is correct. • Liaising with PR company, allocating work to freelancers and managing temps when needed • Contributing to both brand’s blogs (Wordpress) • Working closely with the design and web development teams to create promotional material for web and mobile • Reporting weekly to Head of Marketing and Board of Directors.
