I am an innovative graphic designer with extensive experience in both print and web platforms. With a heavy skill set and a background in fine arts and international graphic design, I deliver bespoke design solutions that encompass a healthy balance of form and function. My success is fuelled by my fearless ambition, sharp eye for detail, optimistic demeanour, strong organisational skills and eagerness to continue learning. I am accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments and with tight budgetary restrictions, but I also love to jump on opportunities involving long-term projects.
Working within a twelve month contract, I provide brand strategy, creative direction, and consultation services for a luxury Scotch Whisky line. I worked closely with the client, successfully pitched concepts, and built a captivating brand that engages the target audience. I managed the entire process from the initial stages through to final production and offered valuable insight on how to create and execute a visual brand.
As part of a two person team, I quickly became integrated in the company and took over the daily and monthly design needs including preparing label art for 84 products, building a library of product image renders, creating marketing collateral for both print and web, and producing package designs for limited edition products.
Being a single in-house designer, I adopted a multifaceted role that included acting as the creative director, lead designer and production manager. All design efforts went through me including sales support materials, exhibition designs, web designs, email campaigns, promotional items and presentations. These efforts provided the grounds needed to draw in leads and close sales involving large corporations such as Nike, Burberry, L’Oreal, and Adidas.
