The job entailed roles such as producing fun, inspiring + unique content to post on Ella’s social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram + Youtube) which oozed ‘Ellasness’. Whilst online, I picked up all interactions + comments on all social channels and chatted to users with their queries, questions. I also dealt with all Customer Service enquires through social media + worked very closely with their Customer Care team to resolve complaints in an appropriate and prompt manner. As well as the UK side of Ella’s Kitchen, I also managed the Europe distributors + all European social media content for Scandanavia + Benelux making sure all Ella’s social channels are truly + uniquely following Ella’s style.
I worked as a Customer Service Advisor in their sales and customer service department in Head Office on a temporary contract. My role included taking calls & emails from customers, dealing with all types of queries and complaints however big or small they were.
Whilst at university I was a member of both the university's radio station (Radio Sonar) and a community radio station (Voice FM). I presented and produced a show on Radio Sonar for two years and became a committee member in my third year where I was voted in as Head of Events and became responsible for the marketing and social cohesion of the station and its members. Voice FM is a community radio station in Southampton & as part of a small group, we presented & produced a weekly entertainment show.
I was lucky enough to gain a place working for Disney in their Disneyworld resort theme park in Florida. Here I completed an International College Program where I worked in outdoor food in Hollywood Studios. We were trained for a week to meet Disney’s high standards of customer service and eventually graduated successfully from Disney University at the end of the program. I worked within a team where communication and teamwork was essential to make sure the whole department ran successfully. Daily tasks included, serving guests, cooking snacks, re- stocking food carts, preparing food carts for opening and closing and of course making sure every guest had a ‘magical’ day every day.
