  • CLIENT(S): OMD AREA(S): Blog, social, PR, Marketing & PR strategies, Content Management, New Business, Pitching, Video production and editing This role saw me branching away from Account Management and fully immerse myself within the Marketing and New Business section of a global marketing/ media agency. Marketing (70% of my time is dedicated to executing the Marketing strategy I curated and implemented across the agency.) -This includes working with the talent in my local OMD office to ensure we are present at great speaking opportunities and writing excellent thought leadership pieces.This combined with forging great relationships with trade press titles and keeping up to date with editorial and feature calendars. -Overseeing Marketing Exec who owns, executes and manages all awards entries and judging opportunities. The Exec also manages the process of collecting case studies - into a new ordered and searchable system. -Contributing to the OMD regional blog and social channels, in place of our own, in line with regional led content and prospecting strategies. -Supporting the People Team/ HR/ CSR side of the business to build on the branding around this area; supporting with marketing where necessary. Also in terms of branding working as a brand guardian in all I do, see breathe around the office. Teaming up with the in house design teams to develop branding sessions and being seen as the go to contact for any queries in this area. -Owner, curator and manager of an internal monthly newsletter detailing good news, client stories, insider info and upcoming conferences and events which we want to communicate to the agency. New Business (30% of my time is spent supporting small pitches) -Supporting smaller pitches; helping reach out to markets sourcing the required info, collating and putting together RFI and RFP documents. Providing any help necessary for pitch meetings including; room dress, printed materials, video production and logistics planning.

  • CLIENT(S): Table19 AREA(S): Website, social, Direct Mail, Email, PR, Content Management, New Business An opportunity came along to become work on 'New Business and Agency Marketing'? as well as other clients. In the last 6 months of this role I have achieved the following: -Created, organised and implemented a quarterly content management plan which spans across all inbound, outbound, new business and any proactive additional output from the agency. -Worked within the agency to continuously create an output of content; blogs, case studies etc. -In charge of all social media output including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest. -Created a results dashboard to monitor inbound channels against their quarterly targets. -Manage the creation of materials for all new business meetings and calls. -Work closely with outbound channels to provide them with materials they need in order to efficiently bring in leads. -Built strong relationships with all live memberships, publications, subscriptions and intermediaries that could assist in raising our profile to maximise the return from our investments with them. -Have managed the entry and entered for 4 awards, which were all nominated including one which won a Commendation at The Drum Marketing Awards recently, the others are yet to be announced. -Assisted in producing comment pieces which have been included in trade press (The Drum) and also client specific press (The FS Forum's bi annual magazine Argent). -Was responsible for the new financial year's Agency Marketing Budget, which has now been put into place and now sees us as DMA members with a lot more insight resources to improve our work and pitches exponentially. -The above is always constantly being reviewed and adjusted as we move along the pipeline with various leads and we build up a consistent, strong brand profile.

  • CLIENT(S): BSkyB, NOW TV AREA(S): Direct Mail, Email, Press, Microsite build -Once the team had grown, my focus was more on strategy and planning for the following areas; Sky Movies, Sky Broadband and Sky Online. -I worked with MoveableInk to learn how we could improve the capabilities of our emails and stay ahead of new developments in this field, alongside NOW TV and Sky Online. -Blippar were also another great contact, I was very keen to get their involvement with regards to the Sky Movies print material we were working on. -As well as building our external partnerships, I also helped coordinate a competitor tracking and campaign review process which has been rolled out across the team. -This information is shared monthly with the team, included at briefings and often presented to clients.
