A zine created from conception to completion in collaboration with Globe Skateboards. Art directing and designing the zine and also creating a brand identity.
Cooler Magazine

The responsibilities that I under took as Art Director while working at Factory Media on Cooler magazines a global print magazines. I was in charge of the running and the completion of 2 monthly multi-language magazines for four different countries United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and France. Seeing the magazine from conception to completion, liaising directly with 4 language editors using multi-media applications.
Then going onto create and design the magazine with Adobe Indesign with the print guidelines that would ensure both colour and black and white plates were separate, which is needed for multi-language mags. I would then have to prepare the files to send to the printers, sign them off when the printers uploaded them to printing software Delano for final approval.
Time and colleague management was a major role, putting schedules and creating calendars through google in place to ensure that everything ran smoothly and on time. I felt competent and confident in leading a team of 5 colleagues, 3 editors, a photographer and reprographics team.
Ensuring that each issue was fresh and caught the attention of the target audience within each genre of magazine.
Additional tasks included marketing, merchandise and branding materials for print and trade show use. Also producing MPU’s,banners and gifs for website use.
