  • A.L.I.C.E. Immersive Theatre Production
A.L.I.C.E. Immersive Theatre ProductionLoosely based on the story of Alice in Wonderland, A.L.I.C.E. (Anxiety, Lonliness, Insomnia, Crisis, Emotion) was my immersive theatre and dining event held at Athelhampton House, Dorset, raising awareness of mental health issues and to tackle the stigma attached to it. The immersive theatre piece explored Alice’s journey through Wonderland with the intent to inform the audience on an entertaining level, open their eyes to mental health, and subtly teach them about the emotions felt by a person suffering from various mental health disorders. The theatre piece was followed by music, canapés, a silent auction for our chosen charity BCHA, and informative talks to educate the audience further. The 2 evening performances on 28th April 2017 were both sell-out shows and a total of £513 was raised for the mental health department of the charity, BCHA (Bournemouth Churches Housing Association).
  • Handmade at Kew Curation
Handmade at Kew CurationMy internship with Handmade in Britain required that I help out on sculpture exhibition "Sculpt at Kew" at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. The exhibition showcased 35+ artists with both an indoor exhibtion and outdoor sculpture trail in the gardens. I co-curated the pop-up indoor exhibtion of smaller sculptures and sold them to customers, along with maintaining the larger outdoor sculptures on a daily basis.

I organised multiple events as part of my course at university, from a diverse cabaret evening to a sell-out immersive theatre production. My main roles were Artist Liaison and Creative Producer, being the first point of contact for artists, however, studying event management as a whole led me into managing all aspects of events such as marketing, finance, and logistics too. Other units throughout university have seen me create hypothetical programmes for arts venues on InDesign, websites on WordPress, and use a whole variety of marketing tools to create a rebranded business plan and design brief, for multiple companies.
