About me
I consider myself a deeply empathetic researcher and a creative strategist.
Motivated by a deep fascination for human behavior, culture, and our capacity for ingenuity.
Deeply inspired by many domains of knowledge and divergent perspectives, I apply human-centered and systems thinking to problems that require innovative yet resilient solutions.
I work in emerging markets, emerging technologies and forward-leaning applications of research methods. I produce insights and facilitate conversations to support companies in making strategic decisions; on why they do what they do, the products and services they make and how they deliver them for their customers.
For the past decade I've crafted a talent and expertise in innovation and design, working on the design of products from baby high-chairs, to artisanal retail art installations, to automotive VPAs (virtual personal assistants).
This decade I've spent living and working in China and Asia, for both large multinationals and consulting firms.
I have now left this life to embark on a humble inquiry and experimentation to discover what it takes to create a better means of unlocking human ingenuity.
You can read more about how that's going by clicking here.
My current academic side interest, is to further explore the role culture plays in shaping our collective capacity for innovation.
In my free time, I can be found hiking mountains, being clumsily pulled along on water by large kites or exploring the world through food.
I'm most often in London, NYC, Shanghai and Hangzhou.
