I’ve worked in the film, TV and events industry for 4 years now. Starting as an intern with Hillsong Church as video capture and editor for a few of their live events taking place in the O2 and SSE Arenas. I worked my way up to head of media for a department of Hillsong London and I was responsible for recruitment, capture, edits and creative direction. I made everything from motion graphics to piece to cameras. Sometimes I was responsible for up to 40 people at a time, during the 3 day event Hillsong hosted annually at the O2 Arena.
I’ve made several tour graphics for UK Rap Artist and Composer Guvna B, and was recently hired to storyboard and direct his new music video.
I recently finished an internship with an online education company Go Create Academy, as their videographer. I singlehandedly storyboarded, edited, shot and managed their social media accounts for 2 months. I helped them launch their online university accredited course for ‘vlogging’ which included researching and advertising.
I’ve graduated from UAL and during my time there I wrote and directed 3 short films. My script was voted as the best out of two year groups during an assignment and in my final year I wrote, produced, edited and directed my own short film about a young drag queen.
I received high praise from my tutors for my advanced writing talents as well as my ability to work well with others.
I enjoy working with others and finding the fun at work as much as I enjoy retreating to a solitary edit cave. I am versatile. More than anything I love the media industry and I’d give just about anything to be a part of it.
