Facilitating, hosting and curating DMC Lab series with 1–3 year BA Design Management & Cultures students.
Assistant project manager on Uncertainty Playground Symposium as was part of the 2017 London Design Festival exhibition with the same name. Holding both a strategic and operations role, I curated and organised the symposium consisting of 4 panels, 3 keynotes and a participatory research wall. I worked closely with the LCC Dean of Design, show leads, guest speakers and LCC communications teams to deliver the symposium.
Thesis InForm Symposium 2016 A symposium running along the Thesis InForm Exhibition as part of the 2016 Final Degree Shows at LCC. I worked in close with the academic team, students and keynote speakers to coordinate and curate a day of talks and activities. I re-designed the Thesis InForm WordPress website for it to reflect the brand identity and promote the exhibitors. I collaborated with the design team to deliver marketing and social media material for the symposium.
2 Weeks Internship Became part of and worked closely with the team who were driving the brand development of Network Rail. Working together with account manager, copyrighter and creative director to create the new brand guidelines. Being key in administrating and deliver the guidelines to the client. Was on set for the photo shoot where the new look and feel of the brand where being portrait for upcoming campaign. Carried out social media research for Sports & Entertainment. Tracking social media impact for clients such as CR7 and Ballantine's. Other work involved research and sourcing products.
(Part-Time & Fulltime) My job role consisted of understanding and cater to the costumer's needs. Further, I worked with the visual merchandise and presentations of the collections in-store. The role required taking responsibility and being proactive in the running of the store as I was part of a small sales team. Filippa K as a company has a large focus on sustainability and CSR which became part of my mindset when working in the boutique as well as influencing my professional practice. Through my role at Filippa K I developed my adaptability and sociability skills as I worked in multiple stores and sales teams.
