About me
Coming from Riga, Latvia, my background has brought me from studying silver-smithing, then transitioning to exercising product design in The Design Academy of Eindhoven, from where-on I now enable this eclectic skill-set in combination with conceptual thinking and visual communication to design experiences and products for the human body. Functional and fictional projects that all intend to investigate, but also modify the human body.

    OVER VEFA speculation about the future of wearable devices and how they interact with our bodies forming new hibrid forms of phisicality. Comissioned by La Totale Collective Paris, France 2018
  • Ezera Skanas
    Ezera SkanasEzera Skanas is a musical, visual and metaphysical event that starts before the sunrise - 5:00 AM. Events unfold on the stage in the middle of a distant lake. It is momentary in its nature, it resembles a dream. Without formal speeches, without any names and rules it remains a personal and unifying experience. People attend the event in their boats during the middle of the night. There is silence and darkness all around the lake. Then the first objects of light appear. The first sounds begin to play. Performance grows up with the rising light and culminates with the sunrise. Music and visual objects complement the natural landscape and have a stimulating nature, leaving an open space for each ones imagination.     During my internship at studio WALI MOHAMMED BARRECH we worked very closely on a variety of projects, from which the main being the ‘Frameseries’ collection of Spring/Summer 2017 and the Costumes for the chant opera ‘Neo-Arctica‘ organized by the renowned Hotel Pro Forma group. My tasks within the studio included designing products and materials, production management and development. My tasks within the studio included production management, technical development, design, communications with companies and producers, design and development of samples and catalogs and location scouting.
