    • Leading and coordinating communications work streams for projects which span multiple channels (online events, social media, newsletters, networks) involving multiple stakeholders, such as producing and publicising research reports in collaboration with external organisations and agencies, as well as our internal policy team. • Managing relationships with external suppliers (designers, videographers) to produce reports, update our branding templates, and develop content for social media campaigns as part of communications plans. • Writing concise and accurate copy for different audiences. • Supporting the Communications Manager in developing, reviewing and implementing communications strategies to effectively promote the work of the voluntary sector working in criminal justice. • Working independently and proactively, I manage my own projects but also coordinate a consistent programme of newsletters, including writing, scheduling, reporting and quality control. • Arranging media opportunities and interviews with staff, and drawing on the vibrancy and diversity of our members – voluntary organisations in the criminal justice system – to platform and strengthen their voice.

    • Supported the Senior External Relations Manager in delivering the Roundhouse’s advocacy strategy to increase its profile as a charity through organising press coverage, delivering campaigns, and managing stakeholder relationships. • Developed and delivered communications campaigns, managed social media channels, coordinated the press inbox, and arranged the logistics of external film, podcast, and photography crews. • Managed numerous external relationships including MPs, sector leaders, and cultivated new connections. As an excellent communicator I advocated for the organisation amongst both internal and external stakeholders and grew the press email list from 0 to 40 over a period of 2 months to spread awareness of our advocacy work efficiently. • Working with young people and external organisations, I created campaign-specific digital content, blogs, designed posters and graphics for social media. • Delivered sector-facing events focused on platforming youth voices and diversity in the creative sector, notably a Q&A session with Keir Starmer and our young people. • A highlight of my role was improving our case study collection process and safeguarding policies after a video we shared went viral, ensuring informed consent, GDPR and safety is at the forefront when platforming the young artists we work with. I championed these new processes and policies across the organization and they are now adopted across all departments.
