MA Brands, Communication and Culture student, with an interest in social action, seeking freelance work in account management or copywriting. Jamaican culture is my main research area.
Projects
- Period Pack Project JAIn June 2019, my cousin and I travelled to Jamaica to donate sanitary products to 4 organisations and 1 High School, as part of a trial project to promote positive periods. 605 packs of sanitary towels, 218 pairs of brief and 68 bars of soap, were distributed between over 100 Jamaican gxrls. This project has given me the experience and inspiration to, in the future, roll out workshops and fundraise for bigger projects for Jamaican womxn and gxrls.

- Providing customers with as much information as possible about their query, including company policy, alternatives and any benefits on offer, aiming for first contact resolution.

TTYA is an apparel brand, offering wardrobe basics, specifically cut for women who are 5’9” or taller. During my time there, I:
- Created engaging posts for the TTYA blog.
- Helped to boost TTYA’s social media presence and followers, using Hootsuite to schedule regular brand updates across all channels.
- Wrote and scheduled monthly newsletters using MailChimp.
- Edited content on product pages.
- Researched and reached out to tall London-based bloggers/influencers.
- Responded to Customer Care and press enquiries via Social Media and email.
- Supported the production team, assisting and styling on TTYA AW15 and SS16 shoots, as well as the TTYA for Long Tall Sally SS16 campaign.
