About me

 

I attended and graduated with a BA Hon(s) in Womenswear from the London College Of Fashion. Whilst at university I successfully organized a winning team to work productively under pressure to meet tight deadlines during a live commissioned brief held by the brand ‘Hed Kandi’ in conjunction with the retail company 'Miss Selfridge'. My role involved content development and overseeing the design and production process. Communicating in depth research through understanding of ethos, commercial awareness and becoming familiar with the internal and external marketing and publishing techniques for the brands. Monitoring social media presence to fully understand its consumer profile and lifestyle. I Interned at the Fashion Design Studios of J. W Anderson as a Production Assistant for Topman’s ‘MAN’ show, which showcased at London Fashion Week and Giles Deacon as a Studio Assistant, also during the months leading up to London Fashion Week. Working as a team player and leader, organizing group and individual projects successfully. Negotiating with clients and manufacturers, multitasking and independently prioritizing daily tasks. Confident speaking face to face with clients, answering telephones, sending emails and undertaking general office/ admin duties. I have worked as a Junior Stylist Assistant for celebrity stylist Melanie Thomas at O.B Represents. Assisting with models and celebrity clients for Red Carpet Events, Photo-Shoots, Music Videos, T.V Shows (CBBC’s Friday Download & Tracy Beaker) and Magazine Publications (Let Them Eat Cake, Tramp Magazine and 1883). Working in creative team environments and producing content for research and mood boards which were used when pitching at companies such as Sony Music and Warner Brothers. I have worked within the Luxury and High Street Fashion Retail and Ecommerce Sectors for companies. Such as Thomas Pink, River Island, Monsoon Accessorize Topshop and Lyst.com gaining a clear understanding of retail operations through marketing and communication. Using commercial awareness to support management when maintaining the implement of strong visual communication standards across the store/ online platform.
