  Starburst Magazine #479 cover artI was hired to create the cover of Manchester's very own Starburst Magazine. Several years ago I made four covers back-to-back and now I have returned to this lovely publication. Well, I say lovely. The theme of this particular cover is horror. Featuring a host of horror icons, this cover was as much about layout trickery as drawing because the characters are all crammed in tighter than a mall full of zombies.   Policeman and ChildNot exactly sure what this was for, a pitch for a project perhaps. I usually don't go so painterly on colours but it totally works here. Was very pleased with the Mario-like policeman I invented just for this.
• Illustration for The Mummer's Plays Revisited by Peter HarropPerhaps the greatest history and reference book on the obscure subject of mummer's plays that that there will ever be.
