Hi, I'm Lara (she/her)
I see fashion as a complex world of expression rooted in all of us. Appearance is an art form and being able to express what people perceive as beautiful and having the ability to communicate originality to the public is something that intrigues me beyond measure. I am a conceptual thinker with a particular interest in visual communication, design and layout.
I also studied LAMDA and drama from a young age so I am quite the self confessed conversationalist with little fear of public speaking and networking. I completed Level 5 and Bronze Level LAMDA examinations in which I achieved 2 merits; LAMDA helped me gain confidence in communication and performance. My interests in the wider context of the world guided me to find myself, in understanding others. I am receptive to my surroundings and I'm not afraid to push the boundaries within them.
I am seeking work and experience in any sector of fashion, lifestyle, and beauty. My passions within these areas arise from their endless bounds of possibility and I would love to play a part in bringing this excitement to life for everyone in society. I graduated with a 2.1. From my dissertation topic surrounding Identity in the digital age, my eyes were opened to the importance of the second space (online) where we're forging our identities. We often curate ourselves to the point where we become more of a brand than a personality. My interests lie within this digital notion and I want to understand and work with the online world to explore its boundless possibilities.
