At the end of 2017 I joined Sonos and successfully opened their first ever European store (in Seven Dials, Covent Garden), an innovative experiential luxury retail and event space. Together with the retail management, performance, operation, inventory and HR duties, I was working closely with the UK marketing and PR team, supporting them in organising events, running campaigns and liaising with talent/music professionals. The store unfortunately closed permanently at the end of summer.
After almost two years as a senior frame stylist (I started in September 2014), I was promoted to store manager of the flagship store (Covent Garden). I was in charge of general operations, such as planning my team's work schedule, ensuring stock levels, setting and maintaining budgets, tracking KPIs, organising in-store events and managing customer service for the store (and the online shop). I also supported the marketing team in finding brand partnerships within the Seven Dials community, and organised in-store events (such as Sofar Sounds, art exhibitions, and more). In August 2017 I started to also manage the newly opened branch in Angel.
eventbox.fm was an East-London based startup aiming at developing a new way to discover live music events. The service was a comprehensive event listings platform (desktop and mobile) that covered gigs and club nights happening in East and North London. Users could browse events near them searching by date, genre and/or area and also preview tracks from the upcoming acts through Soundcloud. My experience at eventbox.fm only lasted a few months, but it was pretty intense as it happened in the pre-funding phase. I had the chance to: work with leadership (CEO and CTO) to establish growth strategies; experiment and review new marketing channels and strategies to grow eventbox.fm’s user base; liaise with media companies and bloggers in the music/tech business in order to get coverage; provide high quality customer care; contribute actively to the product development. I was also the point of contact for the venues and promoters that partnered with the app
