About me
I am a History of Art graduate from the University of Nottingham with a positive attitude and tenacity to achieve. As well as being a driven communicator, I have a love for developing fresh ideas and powerful concepts.
I have a passion for travelling and culture but my main inspiration and driving force is people. I am inquisitive and bubbly by nature, so love to see different perspectives on life to gain a broader understanding of the world. I am open to new experiences and inspired by what I can learn from friends, family, strangers, the elderly or people I have met abroad. I
also enjoy the city I live in and get pleasure from reading various blogs to get advice on the latest pop-ups, restaurants or quirky and vibrant bars in London.
I also have strong family values. My Father has been a particularly good role model in my life; he has always taught me the importance of hard work and being a modest and integral person with strong values. He had a family business that went into voluntary liquidation during the recession; he paid out all of his staff and set-up the company again by himself the next day. The company grew to be a greater success than before. I strive to live with the same determination, do every job
with gusto and pride, and focus on the positives when things do not go according to plan.

Work history
Events Executive

Until January I was working in events management across both proactive and reactive sales. I got promoted to manage one of the company's largest account, the Freemasons.
Key responsibilities include event organisation, project management, overseeing
production and liaising with clients in all forms of communication. I hold myself to the
highest level of professionalism through my day-to-day contact with clients which include
Warner Brothers and Michael Kors.
I act as a main planner for Christmas parties and weddings.
I work closely with the head Chef & Operations team to ensure everything runs smoothly
on the night, built up strong working relationships in the process.
Organise show rounds and sales appointments for new and existing clientele, brought in
new business for the hotel and increased private dining events since I began.
Attend trade shows and exhibitions.
Constantly aiming to increase sales volume and profitability by developing and executing
projects for assigned markets.
Press Intern

I worked closely on the accounts for Ocado, Beefeater and N-Power proving my
understanding of different brands requirements through briefs. I did media sell-ins and
secured coverage (both national and regional) for the Ocado account proving my ability to
project points and views succinctly.
I also helped organise an event for Ocado held at IPC Media.
I wrote relevant, persuasive and effective press releases to promote products and had
daily correspondences with journalists.
