- Ebb and Flow for Stack MagazinesA project with Steve Watson, founder of STACK Magazines; an online subscription service for a monthly delivery of independent publications. In a team of three, myself, Paige Hartley and Rose Johnson created Ebb & Flow Magazine; a magazine which brings one inspirational person to life through a single interview which runs through the magazine. Within the magazine, we dip in and out of the interview, creating interesting and inspiring articles on the subjects spoken about. For our 01 issue, we met freelance doodler and manager of Seven Doors Tattoo Parlor, Gordon Armstrong, at the shop in Shoreditch, London.
- ProfestThis report investigated the influence the internet has had on the way our youth engage in political activism. This included research on what it means to be politically active in today’s digitally connected world, and how young activists are already utilising the powerful tool of social networking to engage with causes across the globe. Following this research, I created an urban festival named "Profest" which aimed to encourage youth to engage with physical activism. This included designing posters, lanyards and badges for the event.
- GeistThis project investigated into how modern youth subcultures form online and if their consumption of digitalised music has influenced the way they identify themselves. This researched into how new technology has shifted the way emerging trends travel through the internet and what this means for the pace of changing subcultures. During this project, I created a website aimed at bringing the latest emerging artists to the early adopters within online music culture.
