I have been immersed in the world of Advertising for the last 3 years and have enjoyed the pace of the industry, the people who are attracted to it as well as being involved in creating innovative, behavioural-changing work. I am currently an Account Manager at Haygarth, which has given me an unquestionable skill set and experience that I am truly grateful for. Although the people and culture are exactly what I want, I feel my true interest and excitement draws from what an above the line agency can offer – hence my decision to move. It is the type of work that originally attracted me to the industry and is what I am really passionate about, and I feel it is an environment that suits my natural creative interest and compliments my people skills and willingness to work hard. I am also open to other creative industries where I can utilise my skill set that I have gained from Advertising and account management.
• Working across clients: Signet Jewellers (H.Samuel & Ernest Jones) & Audley Retirement Villages. • Day-to-day implementation of client projects, leading the prep for meetings, contributing in creative reviews… • Writing briefs in conjunction with Account Directors & Planners, creating timelines for each project, managing diaries, creating quotes, being in charge of the billing for both accounts (making sure each project has estimates, quotes and invoices). • Sole owner-ship and management of projects (in store POS, magazines, brochures, press ads, DM/DD’s…) – individually being responsible for H.Samuel’s 84pp Christmas brochure for the last two years. • Ensuring the team is always up to date with timely status reports and contact reports and providing industry competitive reports relevant to my clients. • JFDI training – understanding new business and how to achieve that through day-to-day tasks.
• Working across clients: Sainsbury’s (Nectar, Grocery online & Social), Mobile by Sainsbury’s, Age UK and Action for Children • Day-to-day implementation of client projects • Writing briefs, creating timelines for each project, managing diaries • Being responsible for the Brand Refresh WIP, Status and Contact Reports and insuring that deadlines were kept and met. • Solely managing campaigns that include a varied channel plan (radio, in store POS, online display banners, magazines…)
