Laura Haines is a multi-disciplinary Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in London With an extensive background in designing for the music and entertainment sector, Laura has experience in designing graphics for a variety of uses. Examples include tour merchandise for both current and iconic artists, to window displays and fashion forward high-street apparel for retailers worldwide. Clients and licences include: Warner Brothers, Caroline International, Universal Music: Bravado International Group: The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Maui and Sons, Family Guy, REED Learning, Kingston University, Bukkit Online, Mystic Sons, Moruzzi Creative. Laura has recently Graduated from Kingston University, with an MA in Illustration (Distinction) and is currently looking for new and exciting Graphic Design and Illustration projects.
I run my own freelance Graphic Design and Illustration services including design for print, apparel, logos and art direction.
During my time working with Bravado I had the opportunity to design for artists and licences across the companies extensive roster including: The Rolling Stones, The Ramones, Bob Marley,The Beatles, Elbow, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jake Bugg, Family Guy, Marilyn Monroe, Maui and Sons, The Stone Roses, Little Mix and 5 Seconds of Summer. I pride myself on my creative diversity and have designed merchandise for tour, fashion garments and accessories for worldwide retailers and in-store POS/Window display. Seeing designs through from concept/CAD stage to art working, I have an extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. I also photographed product for E-commerce/D2C and completed office duties such as: sending artwork out, creating and editing products on the companies file management system (OPM), assisting members of the creative team with projects and liaising with buyers/sales team to ensure design work met the needs of all parties.
