About me
I am a dynamic and conscientious journalism student, soon to be graduate, with a clear vision of what I wish to pursue in my future. I'm part of the generation that has grown up surrounded by media and technology, therefore it's an environment in which I thrive. New media requires people that are internet savvy, who can grab the attention of an audience through their writing. I’m confident that I am one of those people.
My degree has given me the opportunity to learn not only print but technical skills such as filming, recording and editing which I see as a massive advantage. I’m trained in highly technical television studios, and radio programs such as myriad. I’m fully legally trained and have a strong eye for detail, meaning I never let mistakes slip through my fingers. I self-shoot news packages on high quality cameras, so know a fair bit about filming and setting up shots. I love photography and I'm always keen to learn how to use new technology. I am comfortable using the Adobe Editing Suite and Final Cut Pro. I am proficient at coding and web design, and I'm comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other website languages.
