I'm a freelance food and travel writer with more than 12 years of journalism experience. Prior to going freelance, I worked for The World's 50 Best Restaurants, where I remain as a contributing editor, and before that I worked for Facebook in Dublin, and Bloomberg News in London, São Paulo and Buenos Aires. My first novel, SINGLE BALD FEMALE, will be published in April 2022.

- Latin America's 50 Best RestaurantsI have worked on Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants every year since 2014, curating the annual #50BestTalks events, commissioning video campaigns, writing and editing restaurant profiles and interviews, presenting and moderating panel events and taking part in media interviews. In 2020, I also project managed and presented the LatAm Lives and 50 Best Bites series of virtual talks and interviews with chefs.
- 50 Best for RecoveryWhen the pandemic hit and restaurants and bars around the world were forced to close, I joined The World's 50 Best Restaurants's fundraising effort, 50 Best for Recovery, which raised more than £1 million for those hardest hit by coronavirus. Working with the 50 Best team, we reached out to chefs and bartenders all around the world to ask them to donate prizes to a major auction to raise money for struggling restaurant and bar businesses.
