As a member of the department that organises language courses abroad for young people and adults, I was in charge of: - Providing information on the summer courses to the customers by email, phone or arranging meetings with them to clear up any doubts. - Managing incoming reservations and keeping track of the existing ones. Updating database system. - Dealing with several airline companies and securing flights for a wide range of destinations. Being aware of check-in deadlines and coordinating airport departures on-site. - Occasionally going on over night stays to the UK to act as a translator and chaperone when acting translators were not available. Also travelling abroad to the centres where the courses took place to supervise them. - Solving any matter or problem the students could have during the course of the stay.
Located in Bristol, View Art Gallery is the largest commercial gallery in the South-West of the UK, my roles there included: - Management of all PR and marketing, including liaising with the press, releasing marketing material and maintenance of several social media sites. Compose and edit content for the gallery such as brochures, reviews, artist profiles or interviews. - Helping with the organisation of art fairs, including selection of artists and placements, formulating the gallery submission, sending invitations to costumers and curating once at the fair. - Involvement in every stage of the planning and setup of different exhibitions. Organising private views and supporting with sales. - Managing the gallery for several days whenever necessary keeping track of all the online sales and assuring the delivery. Asking for feedback and analysing the results.
