Laura Scofield is a Brazilian-born, New York-based multidisciplinary designer. Laura holds a MA from the School of Visual Arts in Design Research, Writing and Criticism (USA) a MA in Design (Brazil) and a BA in Graphic Design (Brazil).
She currently works as a Creative Lead at January.ai (US).
Laura also serves as a Design Professor at UNI-BH (Brazil) and as a board member of AIGA-NY (US). Previous experiences include building brands at renowned design studios such as Pentagram and DesignStudio.
Laura is a devoted educator and loves being an active part of the design community in the US and Brazil. She participates in AIGA-NY Mentorship Program helping recent design grads with their professional goals. She’s also actively on the jury of design awards such as Brasil Design Awards and Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial.
Fun fact, Laura is also a vexillologist (or, in other words, obsessed with everything related to flags).
