Production Assitant & Co-ordinator
Working alongside the Production Manager & Sales department, the role of Production Assistant will be to assist the production department in ensuring the products (garments/knitwear /bags/small leather goods/ shoes etc.) are delivered on time, with good quality/ proper specification / and at the target margin.
Main responsibilities
•Assist with data entry of product details into NAV system, as well as creating the book out for all production to allow the check in of received goods.
•Entering production orders into the system based on the information from the sales team.
•Assist to Order /Stock /Dispatch materials/fittings for the production according to the necessity and timing following the schedule and make sure the leftover materials under control either at U.K. HQ and at factories.
•Assist in communication with the factories to ensure a timely Delivery schedule.
•Assist in the QC process with the factories to ensure no goods of poor quality are sent to customers. All faulty goods should be reported to the Production Manager.
•Assist the QC process to increase/maximise the factory standards, summarizing faulty goods reports from customers and reporting to the Production Manager.
•Manage and plan courier pick up and drop off in between factories and warehouse.
•Keep record of all courier expenses.
•Create stock/ despatch lists per factory, keeping a record of all trims, fabrics, patterns and samples.
•Create an archive file with detailed photos products.
•Assist in keeping the production area and supplies organized and clearly labelled
•Seasonal creation of inventory reports for trims in stock for next season that can be produced for any reorders.
•Clothing fabric test control for care label definition.

Working at Shubette my Responsibilities included assisting the Head production manager and also helping with research of trends and ideas as well as developing new designs.
Responsibilities
? Research for new trends and come up with new designs for each season.
? Design accordingly with the costumer’s style, age group and requirements.
? Help create prototypes of new products and make necessary adjustments.
? Meeting with buyers from European brands to book style’s orders for the upcoming seasons.
? Assisting on the management of all sourcing and production processes.
? Assist on planning production capacity in advance with factories.
? Raw material bookings in line with target delivery dates.
? Place production orders with factories in Europe, China, Japan, and India.
? On-going confirmations of x factory dates and costumer delivery dates.
? Send out for chemical and physical tests all fabrics and trimmings according to costumer’s standards.
? Report back to costumer’s different teams with reports, samples and developments.
