I am a final year student at the University of Leeds, currently completing my degree in English Literature. I have a strong interest the museum and art gallery sector, and have completed volunteering, internships and work experience in this field. My passion lies particularly in public programming, outreach and youth engagement. I am also interested in curatorial development and exhibition facilitation.
Responsible for the upkeep of the gallery's art studio, The Sackler Centre, and for assisting and supporting visiting artists with educational projects and classes. Other responsibilities included record and data management, undertaking of research projects, assisting with workshops and public program events, and liaison between the gallery and local schools.
My responsibilities included data entry, promotional material distribution, creating and editing copy for The Poetry Society website. I was also required to manage social media promotion for The Foyle's Young Poet of the Year Award, and was involved in first-level sifting of the poetry entries.
