About me
I work at the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) heading up the Public Relations department which includes PR, Content, Social Media and Video & Photography for British Tennis. I also sat on the PRCA council for 2015 and have previously worked at H+K Strategies, The Red Consultancy and Popcorn PR on a number of leading industry clients looking after a number of areas including media relations, issues and crisis management, stakeholder management, trade media and worked across UK, Europe and Global accounts managing a number of different markets.

    I head up the Public Relations department at the Lawn Tennis Association/British Tennis which includes Public Relations, Social Media, Content and Video & Photography. I am also on the Leadership Team at the LTA. I joined the LTA in January 2015 to set up the PR department following a new four year strategy to grow the game and reach wider audiences. My team focus on delivering key projects to a consumer audience through owned and earned channels to engage and encourage participation in tennis. Key achievements • Successfully set up a PR function, nurtured and grew a team to be respected experts in their fields • Delivered a Communications and Content Strategy for the business • Set up an Influencer & Advocacy programme through segment targeted ambassadors • Managed global media for the Davis Cup and media requests throughout Wimbledon. • Created a number of media events to celebrate the success of our British tennis players. • Delivered the Davis Cup Legacy campaign alongside the Tennis for Kids initiative following the Davis Cup 2015 win, which to date has had over 33,000 children take up the free tennis courses with 43% still playing.

    I was an Account Director at Popcorn PR, a 2013 PR Week and PRCA ‘Best New Consultancy’ nominee where I led a number of consumer accounts across several communication pillars (Brand, CSR, Corporate, Issues & Crisis, Social and Trade) including Greene King, BMW, The Perfume Shop, Hothouse, Jo Hansford Salon and Little Miracles. I also sat on the PRCA council for 2015. I managed a team of eleven, delivering the external objectives, briefs and projects, budgets and KPI targets for all of my clients. Key achievements: • Delivering a multi-channel strategy for Old Speckled Hen across peak periods and introducing the brand for the first time to consumer media including a piece of activity which saw a PR idea go above the line on Christmas Day 2014. • Working with BMW to introduce them to key consumer media and launching the BMW 2 Series
