University of Sheffield graduate with a broad knowledge of the digital world, ranging from platform ethics and content moderation to marketing and UX, with an interest in the sociological impact of the Internet and online activism + philanthropy. Other interests include: online fandom, Twitter and Instagram, and Vimto bon bons.

- Design Practice: Ink Spot Gift TagsWanted to practice drawing minimalist patterns and making/editing product mockups! These are a minimalist design drawn in Adobe Fresco and placed using Photoshop (I hope to get more intricate as I learn the programs!) and to practice matching fonts, I made one into a 'happy birthday' gift tag.

Hired as a temporary staff member and progressed to working flexibly between two busy stores (Meadowhall and Sheffield high street), providing till point service and working 'behind the scenes' unpacking deliveries, sorting stock and other merchandising duties. Assisted with various marketing events within the store in Meadowhall, such as student lock-ins and ladies nights, suggesting offers + giveaways to direct traffic to the shop.

Raised money as part of a fundraising collective within the university, putting together a 3 day event across local Sheffield venues. I engaged in outreach and engagement with local organisations to encourage participation with the event and build relationships; take part in the coordination of the festival programme; organising festival fundraisers; operations management throughout the festival weekend; liaising with Cavendish Cancer Care (the beneficiary of the fundraising).

Examined key issues in digital research, online identity, gaming and gamification, and the growth of "produsers". Undertook a 12,000 word dissertation project which explored the changing landscape of comic book fandom and its relationship with the Marvel film franchise.
Also fundraised with the university for local organisations and took part in the Netball team alongside my studies and work.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Developmentstafford College

Studied Sports Development and Coaching, learning in depth about the barriers people face when accessing sport and healthy living resources, and regularly assisted and led coaching session for primary school children, travelling to schools in the local community to provide positive sports enrichment. Also worked in a team to lead fundraising events, such as sports team swapovers (the rugby team in netball dresses was a firm favourite!), and working with other learning departments to fundraise (such as makeovers and fashion shows).
