About me

I have been working as a set design, art, and production assistant since my graduation in 2014. Working with a number of designers within retail, moving image, still life, graphic design, and theatre. I regularly complete tasks such as image and product research, checking the sets and displays for any changes and then executing solutions, communicating with managers regarding their expectations, preparing props, lighting, dressing mannequins, and helping with installation.

I was given the opportunity to learn and complete tasks such as hiring stock from the shop floor, image and product research, discretely accessing the shop windows during opening hours, checking the windows for any changes and then executing solutions, communicating with managers regarding their expectations, preparing props, lighting, dressing mannequins, and helping with installation. It was very hands on work and it was hugely satisfying to see the completed windows, and to see how the time spent perfecting every detail showcased the products so well.
