My experience all says"Marketing" but I tend to gravitate towards events focused roles, preferring the real=life, physical experience over digital (although if you can combine both then even better!) Currently looking to get back to that after a stint as a Digital Marketing Exec.

BigChoice Group is one of the world’s biggest content publishers for the youth, student and graduate sectors. My main duty was management of campaigns at UK universities on behalf of graduate recruiters. - Liaising with universities and suppliers to organise on-campus activities, for example pop up art installations, tennis simulators and flyering campaigns across any of the top 52 UK universities. - Organisation of employer workshops at schools across the UK. - Management of campaign budgets, creating schedules for work, event analytics and reporting - Organising in-house events, B2B networking evenings, and annual BigChoice company awards. - Communicating with clients and agencies to deploy campaigns, such as KFC, Lidl, Stafford Long. - Building relationships with key contacts at universities, schools and companies and disseminating relevant information via phone, emails or newsletters when needed - Management of the B2C social media channels, liaising with editorial to create content - Creating and deploying surveys and creating summary reports, development of information and research databases
CAN is a hub where people are able to turn their ideas into projects, operating with a collaborative ethos. I was recruited initially to assist with various PR and marketing duties, however my role grew as the company did. - Creation and organisation of events for members and public, including Welcome to CAN introductory nights and CAN Presents at the W Hotel, Leicester Square. - Project management of the first Northern Nights Film Festival, an event we pulled together from scratch in 3 weeks but became one of our most successful projects. - Promotion of the brand to industry and public, public relations and dealing with enquiries. - Coordination of the events platform, building relationships with collaborators and promoters - Developing marketing strategies across live, social and digital media, putting together proposals for live events and implementing the most appropriate. - Recruitment and management of marketing and editorial interns
