The solution was not to change what the brand was saying, but how it was saying it. This was done by bringing the shopping experience to the fore, delivering more product and service information, whilst retaining Mr Porter’s aspirational messaging. I am a photographer and director currently residing in London, UK. I produce all of my own photoshoots.
My craft is known for its sensation of ‘warm nostalgia’ as she aims to recreate a familiar 80’s feeling.
I spent a number of years working as head of social content at MR PORTER, and subsequently built my craft around photographing men. I shoot ‘through the female lens’, shifting the dynamic of vulnerability as I try to connect to the souls of my subjects. My goal is to bring more attention to topics like toxic masculinity, building confidence and mens mental health through this focus.
I works commercially across fashion, lifestyle, sport and portraiture with a strong focus on narrative through movement and creative use of light.
I recently directed and produced a film in Iceland exploring the the topic of loneliness in vast landscapes. She also held an exhibition in Colombia in 2020 promoting the creative movement that grew out of years of repression.
My favourite part of this job is the connection she builds with my subjects as I aim to make them feel comfortable and at ease.
