Between December 2017 and March 2018, I ran Cambridge’s most read online student newspaper, where I had the responsibility of running the website and social media pages as well as commissioning, editing and scheduling articles - I raised the Facebook page to just under 17,000 likes.
• I lead a team of 24 section editors in addition to our Tab TV film crew
• I have written over 20 stories, garnering 51,000 views in total with many achieving over 4,000 views each
• I have recently organised a university-wide competition with has received over 10,000 votes
• I wrote the original Hughes Hall May Ball trailer banned story which has received 6,000 views and then went on to be reported in the Daily Mail, the Sun, The Times, the Telegraph and the Daily Star. I was also interviewed live on Sky News regarding the story.
• Prior to becoming Editor-in-Chief, I was Deputy Editor, Features Editor and Tab TV
Presenter. I presented a weekly show for the Tab which would often go viral on Facebook
with most videos having a reach of 50,000 people. I also edited all of my videos.
