Working alongside a small team to generate sales in a blank canvas events space & photography studio. Specifically focusing on increasing the private & corporate hire. Creating new relationships with event and location agencies to generate a higher volume of enquiries for the venue, as well as networking with local companies to pro-actively gain new business while maintaining an excellent relationship with existing accounts and clients. Implementing marketing & sales plans with a marketing assistant and producing promotional content and material for the venue to drive sales. Once an event or photoshoot has been confirmed working to the clients brief and budget. Organising all aspects from sourcing caterers, entertainment & staffing to being there on the day of the event.
Promoted from assistant to manager of all corporate, private hire and reservations for 4 of venues (The Book Club, Queen Of Hoxton, Hoxton bar and kitchen, Patterns (in Brighton). Training & managing an event assistant to work along side myself. Increasing sales targets year on year, and doubling the end of year take in 2015 from 2014 for pre-paid spends.
