I currently work for Link Ethiopia, a small but dynamic not-for-profit educational development NGO, pioneering the delivery of profound grassroots educational change across developing communities in Ethiopia. We do this by not only investing in local schools and communities, but also through the development of global learning opportunities for children and educators. I am responsible for two of Link Ethiopia's major programmes, School Links & Child Sponsorship, as well as overseeing the charities communications. I am an experienced communicator, and have more than 3 years experience working on international development projects rooted in an educational context. I have previously worked as an office administrator & research assistant for a learning & skills consultancy, Intelligent Matching Ltd. I graduated in September 2012 from the School of Oriental and African Studies, MSc Violence, Conflict & Development programme, with a merit. Prior to this, I graduated from my degree in Development Geography from Kings College London in 2010 with a 2:1. I worked a number of jobs during my time at university to support myself. Both of these degrees have equipped me with a range of skills, including policy & academic research, article research, writing & editing, report research, writing & editing, data collection & analysis (interview process, canvassing, data analysis software e.g. SPSS, Excel).
