About me
I've been around the block a few times and successfully survived to tell the tale. I've worked for some of the best agencies in the world, working on well-known and a few lesser-known brands. Plus I've worked for some of the worst agencies you can imagine, but let's not go there. My skills have sent me to the highlands of Scotland, the urban sprawl of Washington DC and the chaos of St Petersburg. All a damn sight more exciting than Surbiton. Oh, and I've won a few awards, but hasn't everyone in this industry.

    Power to Change - Annual ReportPower to Change is an independent charitable trust that supports, helps protect and develops community businesses in England through grant-making, research, capacity building and policy work. And having worked alongside them for several years, designing marketing communications for the organisation, our most recent task was designing their annual report, which can be seen below.

    LYD websiteWorking on personal projects is always tricky. A client project comes in, and they get pushed to the back. And when you start them again, you forget about where you were and end up starting again. Add to that the fact that you invariably overthink them, try to incorporate too much, and overcomplicate what you're trying to say. It isn't easy.     The Works - Salary Guide 2022The Works Salary Guide is an annual report that has become a benchmark tool in the PR and Communications sectors. It looks at salaries, bonuses, and benefits, as well as the trends and differences across in-house corporate comms teams and corporate agencies within the PR industry.

  • Human rights abuses in North Korea
    Human rights abuses in North KoreaTo raise awareness of human rights abuses in North Korea, I developed a social media campaign that gave a voice to the victims of these abuses. A report supported the campaign, also designed by me, featured in the Washington Post, the BBC, and other broadsheets.
  • Power up
    Power upEncouraging kids to get involved in courses and lessons during the summer holidays, I developed concepts for Better Leisure that invited parents to ‘Power up their children’s life skills.’ The campaign ran across social channels and was supported by posters, banners and leaflets.
