About me
I'm a freelance journalist and editor from London. I studied BA Fashion Journalism at the University for The Creative Arts, where I graduated with a 2:1 degree in 2014. Following my degree, I interned with Cent Magazine, Noctis Magazine and DAZED. I freelanced for publications including DAZED, FACT Mag and The Guardian before working as a full-time journalist and online editor for The Voice Newspaper for three years. I currently freelance for publications including Stylist Magazine, DAZED, Black Ballad and more writing across lifestyle, entertainment and culture. I have participated in panel talks, including speaking about black female representation in the media at Rapport Festival and discussing the future of journalism at Mozilla Festival in London. In addition, I have taken part in journalism and media lectures at Nottingham Trent University and London College of Communications. Alongside writing, Leah has featured on BBC Radio London and ABN Radio.
