Having worked as a marketing professional for over 9 years in the creative and media industries in London, Barcelona and Sydney, I have developed experience across brand development, campaign and social media strategy, online advertising, event management and copywriting. I have worked and partnered with some of the most innovative, global thought-leaders, including Adobe, TED, Apple, Vivid Sydney, M&C Saatchi and Etsy. REMIX Summits are a series of global events in NYC, London, Dubai and Sydney on Culture, Technology and Entrepreneurship exploring the future of culture, creative cities and the creative economy.
-Worked with social media and creative teams to develop effective marketing strategies for BBC’s Sherlock – the official app, globally. -Helped to devise individual strategies for UK, US and China to drive conversion and revenue, including partnerships with Amazon and Apple. -Activity led to over 700,000 downloads -Developed new brand voice and identity (including website redesign) for TPF to reflect personality and creative flair (not yet implemented)
-Led & oversaw all areas of marketing activity including Brand Management, B2B, B2C, PR and events -Grew The Loop community by 700% in new sign-ups of both creatives and companies -Lectured regularly at leading universities and colleges to share tips on portfolios, self-promotion and job hunting -Devised and managed event partnerships & competitions with Vivid Sydney, TEDxSydney, Pause Fest, agIdeas, Apple, The British Council -Led The Loop’s inaugural Freelance Salary Survey with the aim of helping to standardise the value of freelance work at all levels through fair remuneration -Developed integrated campaigns for clients, including display advertising, social media & employer brand promotion increasing revenue by up to $20,000AUD each month -Drove site traffic, usage and customer loyalty -Wrote all promotional and marketing collateral, including monthly newsletters, product launches, and press releases.
-Developed and implemented a content strategy for The Loop’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn & The Loop newsfeeds, leading to a collective increased engagement of 600% year on year (in less than 2 years Facebook fans grew from 4000 to 55000+) -Managed blog syndication relationships and collated content to upload on a daily basis
-Developed fresh, appealing content for hotels across Spain to increase search ranking and reservations -Researched and wrote clear, informative copy -Edited copy and images -Liaised with hotels daily (in Spanish) to optimise content and assets
-Project-managed design and print of The Chic Collection brochure -Wrote and edited reviews for hotels to be included in the WBH and Chic Collection books, as well as on the corresponding websites -Created and executed Marketing plan, including eDM campaigns, website re-design, press releases, blog, and social media presence.
-Grew Book of Business from 30 – 50 accounts, increasing yearly revenue by over £1m -Optimised clients’ campaigns based on frequent analysis and monthly reviews with the client
